Tried this as "something different" - and am very pleased that I did. The blackberry flavour comes through very strongly, but in a very attractive way. I have used it with salads and with vanilla ice cream to good effect. I suspect it will go well with pork and venison.
When I am cooking something which just lacks that bit of magic I dash in some orange and mace vinegar! Superb with chicken, all vegetables, many, many sauces ……. It just brightens things up up!

Crunchy Coleslaw Salad
A crunchy slaw with cabbage, carrot, apple, onion and a tangy dressing.
Shred a green or red cabbage, 2 carrots, an apple and half an onion and mix together in a bowl.
Separately, mix together 200ml of Natural Umber apple cider vinegar, a teaspoon of wholegrain mustard, sea salt and black pepper, with two tablespoons of mayonnaise.
Mix both together with your hands and serve with chopped flat leaf parsley on top. Delicious and healthy! The ACV will cut through the onion and leave a sweet flavour.
To experiment with other flavours, try adding; pomegranate seeds, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, spring onions or fresh coriander.
