Autumn Sausage, Apple and Blackberry Bake with Blackberry Vinegar
by Peter Sidwell
A taste from the past, thank you. As a child blackberry vinegar was a winter drink, warming and very good if you had a sore throat, diluted in hot water. My nan used to make it using a pound of sugar a pound of blackberries and a pint of malt vinegar not distilled vinegar, malt vinegar makes a darker and richer flavour, maybe worth a try! Thank you very much, it's lovely .

I love to drizzle Raspberry Vinegar over a bowl of mixed fruit and berries, then topped with rolled oats and yoghurt, a great start to the day!
