Now that we have had to switch to using red raspberries, we can no longer boast our success as winners of Gold*** at Great Taste Awards 2014 and Top 50 and the Nigel Barden Heritage Award, but we are confident this will soon be another award winner. This vinegar is the perfect accompaniment to poached fish and is guaranteed to liven up any catch of the day.

Very subtle, adds beautifully to our cooking. Remarkable how added as a drizzle to steamed green vegetables it adds a very desirable uplift.
Love to add this when anything needs a bit of a kick and a hint of sharpness. Salad dressing is great but also great in fish dishes. Add it to Thai dressings and use with trout, mackerel, salmon etc. All of the vinegars that I’ve tried are wonderful. They lift a dish to the next level. Two new flavours (to me) arrived today - can;t wait to try them.
Golden Raspberry and Apache vinegar is superb, I confess to sipping it straight from the bottle....I love it so much! I use it for salads, roast toppings, sandwiches, desserts, drinks... in fact I use all the vinegar varieties in all areas of cooking. The taste tingling favours of the vinegars really inspire my recipes..... the only problem is choosing what to buy when I replenish stocks...
I was wary of trying this and other Wormersley vinegars because I just don't like the taste of vinegar. How different these are to 'vinegar'. No acid taste, just gentle, subtle flavours. All different but still very tasty.
This golden raspberry and apache chilli has the slightest edge of hotness to it.
We dress plain salads with a dash of Womersley, olive oil and pepper and salt: that’s all! Brilliant! When friends eat with us, we’ve come to expect the question “what is that on the salad?” or in the sauce or whatever. "Womersley," we tell them! One relation never ate salad: he does now! When very young, our daughter used to pick a leaf from the salad bowl, lick off the dressing, then put the leaf back in the bowl: what style!
We reckon Golden Raspberry & Chilli is probably our favourite and the litre bottles really help: we even top up friends’ bottles!
To us, Womersley Fruit Vinegars are simply a vital and much loved ingredient in our food. They enrich our food and our life: we couldn’t live without them.
