Sublime for sweet & sour and poultry and fish dishes
@roystonandhayes Thinking some nice sea bass with prawns and a dash of some fab @WomersleyFoods Lime Vinegar to jazz them up a bit for our meal tonight.
Strawberry & Feta Salad
with Womersley Lime, Black Pepper & Lavender Vinegar Dressing
by Peter Sidwell
I'm now on my fourth bottle of this vinegar, which should tell you everything you need to know....! I first tried it at a food fair in Oxford several years ago and it's the reason I started buying vinegar from Womersley. It makes an amazing difference to salads, a beautifully balanced, unusual sweet and sour flavour that has none of the usual vinegar harshness. Very highly recommended.
The other reviewers are correct: this is so good with fish. I'll also add it to the guacamole and salsa the next time I make a mexican style meal.
I was introduced by a very good deli, Haley & Clifford in Street Lane, Leeds, to using this vinegar on salads without any oil.
So refreshing, subtle flavour, and definitely no need for oil, so it stays really light.
Great product, and better than anything I have experienced.
Plus great service when buying online.
The range of Womersley’s vinegars sit in their individual slots in their wicker basket so as to turn the mediocre to the magical in culinary extravaganza !
Don’t ask me how. I just order them.
My sister introduced me to this Womersley vinegar several years ago and it is a favourite of ours. The mainstay of my kitchen cabinet, it is fresh, versatile, simple as a dressing in itself, and never fails to delight me and all my guests.
